Taylor has recently graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with dual bachelor degrees in Sculpture and Psychology. In 2019, he held a position in Reno at Sheppards Gallery as an intern. Throughout his years of experience he has worked to create functional and captivating pieces. Taylor prides himself on his attention to detail and clean design.
Taylor’s mediums include metal, wood, ceramics, and various other materials that all compile to an overall notion relying on both craftsmanship and conceptual layers. Taylor also uses photography and found objects to convey the uncertainty of the human condition. Taylor’s craft strives to have his audience experience a vulnerable reality unlike their own. Afterall, art is just that: A way of bridging the human connection through visual creation.
“Good design depends on the harmony established between the form of the object and its use.” Max Bill
